MAH JONGG FUNDRAI$ER/TOURNAMENT The Desert Foothills Library Mahjong Group plays weekly and is open to the public. Our annual fundraiser this year will be focused on raising monies to update interactive boards in the Children’s Corner that families use with their children for purposeful play. The library would love to update two of these boards for children that have a developmental age of 1 to 7. These boards provide children with a way to practice and develop gross motor skills, enhance their imaginations and develop important cognitive skills that can be drawn upon as they begin their reading journeys. The Desert Foothills Library is 501 (c) 3 non-profit and raises all of its operating costs through donations. Don’t miss out on being a part of this Mahjong tournament/fundraiser where we will bring the community together to raise money and awareness to help teach our communities children.
